Day 1: Haridwar – Guptkashi / Phata (200 km / Approx. 8 Hours Drive)

Upon arrival at Haridwar, you will be picked up and driven to Guptkashi/Phata. Guptkashi is located about 47 km from the holy shrine of Kedarnath and holds great religious significance. On arrival, check in to the hotel or camp. In the evening, visit the Vishwanath Temple. Dinner and overnight stay at Guptkashi/Phata.

Day 2: Guptkashi / Phata – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (25 km Drive + 19 km Trek)

Early morning (around 5:00 AM), after breakfast, check out and drive to Sonprayag up to the transport parking point. From Sonprayag, take a local vehicle/jeep to Gaurikund (2 km) at your own cost. From Gaurikund, begin the 19 km trek to Kedarnath.NOTE: Guests are advised to book Helicopter/Pony/Palki services in advance to avoid last-minute price hikes. Trekking guests should start early (around 4:00 AM). Upon arrival, visit Kedarnath Temple for darshan and pooja. If time permits, visit Bhairav Baba Temple. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Situated at an altitude of 3,580 meters, Kedarnath stands magnificently amidst the Himalayas. The Mandakini River originates here, and the air resonates with chants of “Jai Bholenath – Om Namah Shivaya.”

Day 3: Kedarnath – Guptkashi / Phata / Chopta

Early morning, visit Kedarnath Temple for darshan and pooja. Afterward, begin the trek back to Gaurikund and proceed to Sonprayag, where your driver will meet you. Drive back to Guptkashi/Phata/Chopta. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Guptkashi / Chopta – Joshimath (Approx. 7 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Joshimath via Tungnath Ji. Enjoy the scenic Himalayan landscapes during the journey. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Joshimath.

Day 5: Joshimath – Badrinath – Joshimath (Approx. 8–9 Hours)

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath, one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus and Buddhists. The Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is situated at an altitude of 3,133 meters.On arrival, take a holy bath at Tapt Kund (hot spring) and proceed for darshan and pooja at the temple. Later, visit nearby sightseeing attractions including Bhim Pul, Vyas Gufa, Mana Village (India’s last village), and Tapt Kund. Return to Joshimath in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Joshimath – Haridwar (Approx. 8–9 Hours Drive)

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Haridwar. En route, visit Dhari Devi Temple and Devprayag (the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers). Continue to Rishikesh for sightseeing including Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Triveni Ghat. Drop at Haridwar or Rishikesh as per your schedule.

What is the starting and ending point of the package?

How difficult is the Kedarnath trek?

The Kedarnath trek is around 16–18 km (one way) from Gaurikund. Pilgrims can also hire helicopter, pony, palki, or doli services for convenience.

Is there any trek for Badrinath Temple?

No trek is required for Badrinath. The temple is easily accessible by road and vehicles can reach very close to the temple entrance.

Are AC and heaters available in hotels?

AC may not work properly in hill areas due to weather and altitude. Room heaters are available on a chargeable basis in most hotels.

Is the vehicle comfortable and air-conditioned?

Vehicles are air-conditioned in plains. AC may not function in mountainous regions. Vehicle type depends on group size (Sedan, Innova, or Tempo Traveller).
